Simultaneously while cranking out the ATCs I enclosed in our socks for Japan, I was finishing up a few postcards for Quinn McDonald's postcards for the Sakura children.
The hubby was working from his home office and came up behind me and asked what I was doing so I explained.
"Well why are they different size cards?" he asked.
"Because this is a postcard project and the other one is a sock project with cards tucked into them."
Silence.
After returning with his tea suddenly I realize he's singing Michael Jackson's "Heal the World" as he re-entered the studio. But because it comes from his German mouth it's more like, "heal zah vorld..."
This is the kind of environment I'm forced to work in people! For every German who lacks humor, I swear my Hubs was given an extra dose. You gotta love it...
But on a serious note, I do hope these cards somehow make some kids smile. I figure everybody loves animals. And check out that baby Rhino -- such a tiny creature trotting around in a suit of armor. Happy Mother's Day!
Your cards are fabulous! Hubs is wonderful. Thanks for the "heal zah vorld...". The post wouldn't have been the same without it. Happy Mother's Day.

They are fabulous! I love the rooster one. I have a funny little soft spot for roosters. I am sure they will be appreciated!

Thanks ladies... this was the first time I tried using masking fluid. It was fun stuff! Yes, the hubby is 100% Nuremburger... he was a little grumpy with my post this time. He says he never makes fun of my bad German pronunciations and I should not be mean about his English! I nearly felt bad. He wasn't actually angry, I think he was trying to get out of cleaning up the kitchen and using anything he could!!

No kidding Veronika... a lesser man would probably surrender, mine just laughs at the reality of being married to me. Poor guy...!
