It's been an odd sort of week where we've put a lot of time and energy into things that we shouldn't have had to.
After all the problems with our camera that started in September the breaking point was when I laid it in a candle on Christmas and started it on fire (did I ever mention that?) Umm, ever since then it really hasn't been the same.
So we recently upgraded to a new Canon. And despite my husband specifically basing the sale on the fact that it was supposed to have an English operator's manual, we got home late last Saturday with instruction in German, Italian, Dutch and French. Stores are closed here Sundays and then it was Fasching holiday so we couldn't really deal with the problem until now. And basically this meant that the hubs had to go to the Canon website and download a 100+ page .pdf to print out himself while the camera sat in it's box for days.
Just to top off the week, another purchase we made at the Mac store doesn't function with our iPhones (even though the salesman insisted it would) and because we opened it, they said on the phone that they will not take it back.
So this "Loosen Up" journal page says, "Sometimes I wish it were easier for me to simply feel good and energetic, positive and happy and not so worn down by the frustrations in life." Fittingly, it's made over some printed grape leaves that smeared all over which made it not exactly ugly but not exactly beautiful either. It gives me the exact same feeling as those people out there who tell you, "oh yeah, yeah" and then you end up having to reverse the problem that their mis-information put you in.
Oh, I really hate it, when people say A and in the end it turns out to be B. Grrrr!
Well, one little comfort: that camera looks pretty good to me. I am a Canon fan as well and working with the 300D for quite some years now, and it still takes wonderful pictures!

Hugs for the weekend woes. I do love the artwork that came from your frustration.
