Although I technically site pretzels throughout Germany I couldn't help but be excited when I spotted the metal elements on the window bars of the Palazzo Stern Hotel while I was recently in Venice.
These are clearly the Italian cousins to Pretzel #18 don't you think..???
This discovery is bringing up all kinds of new ideas for me in my quest to prove to the world that this icon is more than just a baked good.
Pretzel genealogy. Pretzel family trees. Pretzel reunions. The prezelbilities are endless.

Nah, this is not a pretzel! The ends are not crossing or rolled together. Sorry, but I think it cannot count as an official Pretzel Sighting. You have to keep your standards high or the whole Pretzel Sighting Project falls apart - stick to the rules! LOL
